Background

Janice has been involved in teaching children’s music in a variety of settings for over fifteen years, including Music Camp, children’s choirs, children’s chimes, Vacation Bible School, and Sunday School. She has served on the Music Council, a group responsible for planning musical activities in the church. As McKendree Preschool’s music teacher, she provides music education for approximately 140 children each year. She is a teacher and administrator for a non-profit music organization working to provide music to all children regardless of their financial status. She is a certified Kindermusik educator, and also teaches group and private piano lessons. Janice is married with three children of her own. She graduated with honors from Oglethorpe University with a degree in Business Administration. Her corporate experience includes such companies as General Electric and BellSouth.

Hobbies

Small trips to the mountains, watching movies, and playing board games.
