Make a joyful noise with the Chancel Choir as they serve as weekly worship leaders during the 11:00 am service. Rehearsals offer opportunities for both musical and spiritual growth, mixed with fun. Providing music for special services and concerts is also part of this choir's schedule. Nursery is available for members' small children.

Praise Teams
McKendree has a praise team that leads the worship leadership of the 9:30 service: Psalm 151
Worship is a beautiful expression of our love for the Lord, and an opportunity for us to declare who God is. We were created to worship God, and He wants us to worship Him with all our heart, mind and soul. We believe worshipping God through music can be an exciting and reverent time, as we all express our joy and gratitude for our Savior.
Psalm 151 exists to nurture worshippers, helping them experience God and the fullness of His Spirit through music. We are truly blessed to minister and celebrate God's grace with all our brothers and sisters here at McKendree. Psalm 151 rehearses Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 pm and Sunday mornings from 8:00 – 9:00 am.
