Ed Wadsworth was born in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Marietta, GA during his senior year of high school. He and Sandy were married in 1968. They have three grown children: Tracy, Michael and Elizabeth. Tracy and his wife, Lilly, have a son, William.

Ed has been in pastoral ministry since 1972. He earned a Bachelor degree in Humanities from Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth, a Masters of Divinity from Emory University, and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Seminary in Chicago. He became the Senior Minister at McKendree in 2008.
