JOIN US SUNDAY MORNINGS FOR "THE BORN IDENTITY" - EPIPHANY WORSHIP SERIES
MCKENDREE CHURCH-WIDE STUDY beginning February 26
Through this study we will focus on the time leading up to the Crucifixion of Jesus and be encouraged to personally experience these world changing events. Purchase your copy of "24 Hours That Changed the World" ($12), Sunday mornings, in the Fellowship Hall , or in the main office during the week and walk with your McKendree family in the footsteps of Christ this Lenten season. PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
The McKendree Preschool will open registration for the 2012-2013 school year to the general public on Monday, February 13th. All registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Feel free to contact Gregory Miller in the Preschool office at 770-339-7040 to schedule a tour.
IS ALPHA FOR ME? beginning 6pm, February 22
I have heard of ALPHA but is it for me? People attending this study come from all backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints. They come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus and more. Some people want to get beyond religion and find a relationship with God that really changes lives. Others come for the close, long-lasting friendships that are built during the Alpha course. We hope to see you at 6pm, February 22 in Room 308.
MOMS IN PRAYER INTERNATIONAL 7pm, Wednesdays
This group meets to pray over multiple schools. Several schools and all ages of children are represented. We meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm in Room 314 of the Education Building at McKendree UMC. You do not have to be a member of the church to join the group. MCKENDREE UMW'S CHILDREN'S CONSIGNMENT SALE 9am – 3pm, Saturday, March 17th
(Half Price 1-3pm)
We would love for you to participate in this event by volunteering, becoming a seller, and shopping for terrific clothes at greatly reduced prices. Twice a year we raise $4-5,000 to benefit many worthy missions. It’s a great time to meet some of McKendree’s finest members while you help raise money for missions. We could really use a few good men on Saturday afternoon when strong backs are needed for taking down and storing the clothing racks! Community members can sign up here starting 2/14/12. After registering and paying your $10 fee, a seller packet will be mailed to your home.
AA MEETING
A new group has begun meeting here at 6:30pm, Wednesdays. The first meeting was January 11, 2012.

MCKENDREE BICYCLE CO-OP 6pm - 8pm, Thursdays
